LAHORE: Business leader Rameez Dewan has expressed gratitude to industrialists, traders, friends and supporters for their support and cooperation during the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) election process, pledging to continue working for the betterment of the business community.
In a message issued after the LCCI polls, Rameez Dewan thanked members of the Industrial Estate Daroghawala Association, Shalimar Lahore Sanat-o-Tijarat Board (SLSTB), and other business circles for their encouragement, goodwill and cooperation.
He said the trust and confidence shown by the business community would remain a source of strength for him and motivate him to continue raising issues concerning traders and industrialists.
Rameez Dewan appreciated the efforts of his colleagues, friends and supporters who stood by him during the election campaign and contributed towards strengthening representation of the business community.
He said that participation in the LCCI election was part of a democratic process aimed at ensuring effective representation of the business sector. He added that the concerns of traders and industrialists should remain a priority and require collective efforts for their resolution.
Rameez Dewan emphasised that unity among the business community was essential to overcome challenges faced by industries, improve the business environment and promote economic growth.
He said he would continue maintaining close contact with traders and industrialists and would play his role in highlighting their issues at relevant forums.
He also expressed hope that all stakeholders would work together with a shared vision for the progress of Lahore’s business community and the strengthening of the industrial sector.
