ARIFWALA (Web Desk) – A boundary wall collapsed near the designated helipad as Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz landed in Arifwala on Thursday, though the incident caused no harm to the chief minister or her helicopter.
Maryam Nawaz had arrived in the Pakpattan tehsil to inaugurate the Nawaz Sharif School as part of her official visit to the area.
Officials said the wall fell during the helicopter’s descent, but the aircraft landed safely without sustaining any damage. The chief minister also remained unharmed.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the reason behind the collapse and said an assessment is underway to determine what caused the incident. There was no immediate confirmation of any injuries or property damage beyond the fallen wall.
