LAHORE – Residents of Lahore enjoyed a welcome break from intense summer heat on Sunday as rain showers swept across several parts of the city, creating cooler and more pleasant weather conditions.
Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in various localities, including central and residential areas, leading to a noticeable drop in temperature and improved air quality. Many citizens took advantage of the cooler weather by visiting parks and outdoor spaces.
According to weather officials, humidity levels increased following the rain, while temperatures remained lower than recent days. Authorities have predicted more intermittent showers over the next two days, raising hopes of continued relief from hot weather conditions.
The rainfall also brought cloudy skies and cooler winds, enhancing the overall atmosphere across the provincial capital. However, officials advised motorists to exercise caution on wet roads during periods of rainfall.
