CAIRO (Web Desk) – Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Egypt have reaffirmed their commitment to diplomatic engagement and regional cooperation, expressing support for the next phase of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
During a meeting of the Regional Four (R-4) grouping in Cairo, the participating countries welcomed recent diplomatic progress and underscored the importance of maintaining dialogue to promote peace and stability across the Middle East.
The foreign ministers reviewed key regional developments and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation on political, economic and security issues. They stressed that continued engagement among regional stakeholders is essential for reducing tensions and preventing future conflicts.
The meeting also highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to address challenges affecting regional security, international trade routes and economic stability. Participants agreed to enhance consultation and practical cooperation under the R-4 framework.
Officials further reiterated support for the Palestinian cause and called for renewed international efforts aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
Observers view the Cairo meeting as another step toward strengthening diplomatic coordination among key regional players as negotiations and peace initiatives continue to evolve.
