MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has unveiled her latest track, Siir Siir, which has been included in the official music project for the FIFA World Cup 2026, marking another milestone in her international career.

The song features on the tournament’s official album, bringing together artists from different musical traditions and cultures to celebrate football’s biggest global event.

Siir Siir has been produced in collaboration with acclaimed music producer Sanjoy and French singer Vegedream, blending diverse influences into a track designed to resonate with audiences around the world.

The release comes just days after FIFA organisers confirmed that Nora Fatehi will perform and sing at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony, scheduled to take place on June 12, 2026, at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada.

For Nora, the opportunity represents a major achievement and a significant progression from her involvement in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where she performed during a fan event rather than the main ceremony.

Sharing her excitement about the project, Nora described Siir Siir as one of the most meaningful songs of her career.

“This song is a very special one for me,” she said, highlighting the emotional connection she feels with the track and the journey behind its creation.

The actress explained that she approached the project with great care and intention, aiming to create a piece of music that reflected both her artistic identity and personal story.

According to Nora, Siir Siir was conceived as a celebration of cultural diversity, combining multiple influences into a sound that feels both universal and deeply personal.

She revealed that the song draws inspiration from her Moroccan heritage, her Canadian upbringing, and the strong influence of the Indian community, all of which have played an important role in shaping her life and career.

By weaving these elements together, Nora said she hoped to create a song capable of connecting with listeners across borders while remaining authentic to who she is.

Fans have welcomed the release with enthusiasm, praising the track’s international appeal and expressing excitement over Nora’s upcoming FIFA World Cup appearance.

Her participation in the opening ceremony is also being viewed as a proud moment for South Asian audiences, with many celebrating her rise on one of the world’s biggest entertainment stages.

With Siir Siir now released and anticipation building ahead of the tournament, Nora Fatehi appears ready to captivate millions of football fans worldwide through both music and performance.
