Rana Farooq Ashraf, Pakistan Peoples Party ticket holder (PP-50), while congratulating the party leadership, workers, and the people on the spectacular and historic victory of the PPP in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, stated that this victory is a testament to the triumph of the people, the success of democratic values, and the public’s unwavering faith in the philosophy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
In his statement, Rana Farooq Ashraf said that the conscious people of Gilgit-Baltistan have proven through the power of their vote that the Pakistan Peoples Party is the only party in the country that truly believes in public rights, democracy, development, and prosperity.
He added that the people have rejected the politics of hatred, division, and lies, and have expressed full confidence in the candidates of the Peoples Party.
