According to international reports, including Agence France-Presse, an Iranian military spokesperson said Tehran is prepared to sustain the conflict as long as necessary. The official emphasized that Iran’s strategy is aimed at achieving long-term security and preventing future wars.
In remarks carried by Islamic Republic News Agency, the spokesperson warned that Iran’s adversaries would face consequences, adding that the outcome of the conflict should ensure stability in the region and deter further aggression.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader strongly criticized recent statements from the United States suggesting severe military action, calling such threats dangerous and provocative. He warned that any attack on Iran would be met with a firm and decisive response.
The statements come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, raising fears of a broader regional escalation. Analysts say the strong rhetoric from Tehran reflects deepening divisions and may complicate ongoing diplomatic efforts.
With both sides maintaining firm positions, global attention remains focused on whether diplomatic channels can help de-escalate tensions and prevent further instability in the region.
