Meanwhile, partly cloudy weather with scattered rain and thunderstorms is likely in Sindh, upper and central Punjab, central and southern Balochistan, upper KP, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, particularly during the evening and night.
The department has warned of possible flash floods in local streams and nullahs in northeast Balochistan, lower KP, and Dera Ghazi Khan due to heavy rainfall. Landslides and flash flooding are also feared in hilly areas including Kashmir, upper KP, Murree, and Galiyat on April 7 and 8.
Authorities cautioned that strong winds, hailstorms, and lightning could damage weak structures such as electric poles, billboards, and solar panels, while standing crops may also be affected in Punjab, Sindh, and KP.
