DIG Imran Kishwar briefs officers on police training, performance and reforms

LAHORE– A delegation of 42 trainee Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) from the Sindh Police visited the Capital City Police Headquarters in Lahore on Wednesday.
The delegation was led by SSP Jawad Ishaq.
DIG (Administration) Imran Kishwar, representing Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, welcomed the visiting officers and delivered a detailed briefing on the structure and functions of Lahore Police.

He outlined the force’s training programs, operational performance, crime prevention strategies and key responsibilities in maintaining law and order.
He also discussed the reforms implemented within the Police Department, aimed at improving service delivery and enhancing operational efficiency. He emphasized that the Lahore Police have played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the citizens.
He further highlighted the establishment of “Model Police Stations,” designed to foster a supportive environment for both police personnel and the public. Advocating for community policing, the DIG reiterated Lahore Police’s commitment to providing best service to the citizens.
The DIG also pointed to initiatives aimed at supporting the families of police martyrs, urging the trainees to embrace professionalism and a strong spirit of public service as the core values of their careers.
The delegation expressed their admiration for the reforms and professional services of Lahore Police. The visit concluded with a ceremonial exchange of souvenirs between the two departments.
