Pakistani TikToker Samiya Hijab has broken her silence on social media speculation, revealing that the man she accused of kidnapping and issuing death threats is none other than her former fiancé, Hassan Zahid.
In a video statement, Samiya admitted that Hassan was once engaged to her, but she ended the relationship after discovering his true character. Her clarification came after videos circulated online showing her meeting and accepting gifts from him, which led many users to accuse her of seeking attention.
Responding to criticism, Samiya said, *“If I had been murdered like my friend Sana Yousuf, people would have shown sympathy, but since I am alive, they are making allegations.”*
She stressed that regardless of marital status, no one has the right to use violence, coercion, or attempt abduction. According to her, even after the engagement was called off, Hassan allegedly snatched her phone, dragged her, assaulted her, and tried to kidnap her.
Samiya shared that she is suffering from severe mental distress and appealed to the public not to judge her without knowing the full story, while expressing hope that she will receive justice.
