In his message on the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, Mian Abuzar Shad urged the nation to gift Pakistan with much-needed water reservoirs and dams — a legacy that would ensure life, prosperity, and stability for generations to come.
“True independence lies in securing our economic future and ensuring water security for agriculture, industry, and the people,” he emphasized. He added that this responsibility rests equally on the government, private sector, and civil society, and called for a unified national strategy to achieve the goal.
Senior Vice President Khalid Usman and Vice President Shahid Nazir Chaudhry also extended their Independence Day greetings to the nation. They expressed confidence that with determination, hard work, and strategic planning, Pakistan could overcome its challenges and emerge as a strong, self-reliant country.
The LCCI leadership reaffirmed its commitment to playing a proactive role in promoting sustainable development, economic growth, and industrial modernization in the country.
As Pakistan marks yet another year of independence, the LCCI leaders’ message serves as a reminder that national celebrations should be accompanied by concrete actions to secure the nation’s future.
