KARACHI (News Desk) – In a major development in the mysterious death of actress Humaira Asghar, police have retrieved crucial data from her three mobile phones, a tablet, and a laptop, sources confirmed on Saturday.

The popular actress was found dead in her apartment in Defence Phase 6 last week, raising serious questions about the circumstances of her passing.
According to SSP South Mahzoor Ali, a six-member special investigation team has been formed under SP Clifton Imran Ali Jagrani to get to the bottom of the case. The team will determine whether Humaira’s death was natural, accidental, suicide, or a possible case of foul play.
Police sources say they gained access to her digital devices using passwords she had saved in a personal diary. Investigators are now combing through her data, including chat history and personal notes, to piece together the final days of her life.
Two key witnesses have already recorded their statements. Authorities have also questioned the apartment’s security guard and cleaning staff, while more individuals are being summoned for questioning.
Investigators believe Humaira used to regularly visit a local gym and beauty salon. Her gym trainer and other related individuals will also be questioned to shed light on her recent behavior and possible stress indicators.
Police have further revealed that the actress had been in frequent contact with a few individuals, whose identities and relationships with her are now under scrutiny. Additionally, her bank accounts are being examined to look out for any suspicious transactions or financial irregularities.
Despite the ongoing investigation, Humaira Asghar’s family has yet to approach the police to initiate any formal legal proceedings.
Authorities remain tight-lipped about any leads but assure that they are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to crack the case.
