LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs, Punjab, Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, visited the grave of Maharaja Duleep Singh during his official visit to the United Kingdom and laid a floral wreath as a gesture of deep respect and tribute. The visit was made to mark the barsi (death anniversary) of the great Sikh ruler, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, whose leadership and legacy continue to inspire Sikhs and Punjabis around the world.

During his visit to the Elveden Church, where Maharaja Duleep Singh is buried, the Minister paid homage to the historical and cultural significance of the Sikh Empire and the sacrifices made by its rulers. He noted that Maharaja Duleep Singh was the youngest son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and holds an important place in South Asian history.
