LAHORE: A delegation comprising 300 students from various universities participating in the Punjab Police “Volunteer in Police” Internship Program visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) for a study tour.

The delegation was taken on a comprehensive tour of different PSCA departments and briefed on modern policing mechanisms, monitoring systems, and emergency response operations. The students observed the real-time citywide security and surveillance system through PSCA’s state-of-the-art Digital Monitoring Wall.
During the visit, students received detailed briefings on the upgraded Punjab Emergency Helpline 15, its advanced features, the Women Safety App, the Virtual Women Police Station, the Child Safety Center, the Virtual Blood Bank, and the Misaq Center for minority support. The students were informed that the Virtual Child Safety Center not only benefits residents of Punjab but also provides assistance to citizens from other provinces. The students highly appreciated the citizen-focused services and technological initiatives of PSCA and commended the Authority’s continuous efforts to enhance public safety and security across the province.
