LAHORE: A 160-member delegation of students from the “Friends of Police” initiative under the Punjab Police Internship Program visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) for a study tour.

The delegation was welcomed and taken on a detailed visit of various departments by the Shift Commander DSP, who also briefed them about the advanced policing systems in place at the Authority.
The students received an in-depth orientation on the upgraded Punjab Emergency Helpline 15 and the modern features integrated into it.
The briefing also covered key PSCA initiatives, including the Women Safety Program, Child Protection mechanisms, and the Emergency Response System.
Students were informed that in emergency situations, women can use the Live Chat feature of the Women Safety App to instantly seek help.
In addition, the delegation was given a detailed overview of the operations of the Virtual Blood Bank. The students appreciated the humanitarian spirit behind the initiative and expressed their willingness to register as blood donors to support the cause.
The visit to the Digital Monitoring Wall, where students observed live surveillance of the city, was described as a unique and informative experience.
