JAHANIAN (Web Desk) — Renowned religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni was rushed to a hospital in Multan after suffering a medical emergency while delivering a Friday sermon at a mosque in Jahanian, Punjab.

According to reports, the scholar was addressing worshippers ahead of the Friday prayer when he suddenly became unwell during his sermon. Witnesses at the mosque said he appeared to lose strength before collapsing from the pulpit.
Congregants and mosque officials immediately responded to the situation and provided first aid before arrangements were made to transfer him to a medical facility for specialized treatment.
He was later shifted to a hospital in Multan, where doctors began evaluating his condition and providing emergency care.
Eyewitnesses said the incident caused concern among worshippers present at the mosque, many of whom gathered to pray for his recovery.
Reports indicated that senior local officials, including DSP Malik Abdul Majeed, were present at the mosque at the time of the incident and monitored the situation as emergency measures were carried out.
Hospital authorities have not yet released a detailed medical bulletin regarding the scholar’s condition. Family members, students and followers have appealed to the public to pray for his health and recovery.
The incident prompted an outpouring of concern on social media, where supporters and fellow religious figures expressed their best wishes and prayers for the well-known scholar.
