LAHORE: A book launch ceremony for “Rangrez,” the new collection of short stories by renowned writer, poet, and celebrated fiction author Sophia Bedar, was held at Alhamra Arts Center the Mall.
The stage for the event was graced by prominent writers and literary figures, whose colorful thoughts and contributions added to the charm and dignity of the program. Under the hosting of our insightful storyteller Sofia Baidar, the venue was filled with attendees who became a part of the celebration.

Renowned poet Abbas Tabish fondly remembered Alhamra’s invaluable services. Dr. Tahira Iqbal presided over the event, while other speakers, including Dr. Waheed Rehman Khan, Salma Awan, Dr. Najeeb Jamal, Hamida Shaheen, Bilqis Riaz, Bushra Ijaz, Neelam Ahmed Bashir, Amir Faraz, Shehzad Nayar, and Amina Mufti, praised Sophia Bedar’s work and expressed their admiration by reading her stories.
Sofia Baidar remarked that the past is for writing, the future is for pondering, and the present is for living.
