ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday predicted rain and snowfall in various regions of the country from November 28 to December 2.
The PMD were Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, and Qila Saifullah were expected to experience strong winds and thunderstorms during this period.
Snowfall is predicted in mountainous areas, including Waziristan, Kurram, Mohmand, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Malakand, Mansehra, Kohistan, Gilgit-Baltiostan, and Kalat.
Light rains and drizzle are anticipated in Potohar, Murree, Galiyat, Islamabad and Mianwali from November 29 to December 2.
Authorities have been told to remain on high alert, while the rains are expected to improve air quality in Punjab. However, an increase in fog intensity is likely in Punjab’s plains in the coming days.
