LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan formed a parliamentary committee to find out the facts of supply and use of drugs in private and public educational institutions.

During the debate on law and order in the House, the government members said everything was fine, while the opposition piled up complaints.

The session of Punjab Assembly started after a break of 2 days. The speaker revealed during the debate on law and order that according to the vice chancellor of Lahore College Women University, there are male employees sexually harassing girls, so male employees should be removed from the university.

Speaker said that we all have daughters and these incidents are very worrying

The speaker said that the incidents happening in private educational institutions are very serious.

The speaker also set up a parliamentary committee to find out the facts of supply and use of drugs in educational institutions

During the discussion, the opposition members protested against the behavior of the police and the violation of the cloak and four walls.

The speaker took strict notice of the police raid on the house of the opposition member Rana Aftab.

In the meeting, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs assured the House that the Punjab Police will not arrest any Member of the Assembly without the permission of the Speaker. After completing the agenda, the speaker adjourned the meeting till 11 am on Tuesday.
