LAHORE: In connection with the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections, the Progressive Group hosted an electoral networking lunch at the Sundar Industrial Estate, drawing heavy participation from prominent industrialists and business leaders.
The event was jointly hosted by Aamir Atta Bari, Khalid Chaudhry, and Mansoor Javed, with Engineer Khalid Usman, President of the Progressive Group, attending as the chief guest. Prominent group leaders present included Senior Vice President Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry, Vice Presidents Jamil Ahmad and Iftikhar Ahmad, Corporate Class Convener Syed Hassan Raza, Associate Class Convener Muhammad Imran Salimi, and Secretary General Chaudhry Mohsin Bashir.
Addressing the gathering, Engr. Khalid Usman highlighted that over the past two years, the Lahore Chamber actively served as a strong voice for the business community across all major trade and economic issues. He stated that the Progressive Group fulfilled the mandate entrusted to them two years ago by defending business interests at every forum, expressing full confidence that traders and industrialists will once again back the PIAF-Progressive Alliance in the upcoming elections.
Maaz Mahmood, President of the Sundar Trade and Industrial Association, lauded Engr. Khalid Usman’s leadership, noting that the Progressive Group has consistently provided effective representation and championed the genuine concerns of the industrial sector.
Adding to the address, Senior Vice President Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry emphasized that the group’s 14-year journey has been dedicated to transforming LCCI into a strong, active, and dignified representative institution. Vice President Aamir Atta Bari remarked that the overwhelming turnout at Sundar Industrial Estate serves as clear evidence of the industrial community’s unwavering trust in the alliance.
Secretary General Chaudhry Mohsin Bashir reaffirmed that their track record of presenting business issues before relevant government departments, official forums, and the media serves as practical proof of their performance, proving the alliance’s capability to lead effectively.
