LAHORE — Pakistan’s men’s cricket team continued its preparations for the upcoming match against England with a training session under the supervision of the coaching staff.

The players participated in batting, bowling and fielding drills as the team worked on improving its preparations ahead of the fourth match of the tri-nation series, scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

The training session provided the players with an opportunity to fine-tune their skills and work on different aspects of their game before the important encounter. The coaching staff supervised the activities, focusing on batting practice, bowling execution and fielding standards.

The session formed part of Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI), with the team aiming to put up a competitive performance against England on home soil.

Batting and bowling remain key areas of focus for both sides as they prepare for the contest. The players are expected to concentrate on building partnerships, maintaining disciplined bowling lines and lengths, and improving their fielding to minimise scoring opportunities for the opposition.

Fielding drills are also an important component of preparations in the 50-over format, where saving runs and taking crucial catches can significantly influence the outcome of a match.

The coaching staff will be looking to ensure that the players are physically and mentally prepared for the challenge, with team combinations and individual performances likely to be important considerations ahead of the game.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1pm local time at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Cricket fans are expected to follow the contest closely as Pakistan take on England in the ongoing series.

Playing at home provides Pakistan with an opportunity to make the most of familiar conditions and the support of local spectators. England, meanwhile, will look to deliver a strong performance and challenge the home side throughout the match.

The upcoming encounter is expected to provide both teams with another opportunity to assess their combinations and strengthen their preparations for future international commitments.

Pakistan’s training session reflected the team’s focus on sharpening its skills and maintaining readiness ahead of Sunday’s fixture.

With preparations continuing under the guidance of the coaching staff, attention will now turn to the match itself, where execution, consistency and teamwork will be crucial to achieving a positive result.
