ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has started preparations for Hajj 2027 in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s requirements, with mandatory registration for intending pilgrims expected to begin later this month.
According to a ministry spokesperson, individuals wishing to perform Hajj in 2027 must possess a valid Pakistani passport with validity extending at least until November 16, 2027, to complete the registration process.
The ministry has urged prospective pilgrims to apply for new passports or renew existing ones as soon as possible to avoid any complications or delays during registration.
Officials said that registered applicants will be able to choose between the government and private Hajj schemes, depending on their preference and eligibility.
The ministry also clarified that overseas Pakistanis planning to perform Hajj in 2027 will be required to complete the registration process.
Further details regarding Hajj packages, expenses, quotas, and other terms and conditions will be announced under the upcoming Hajj policy.
