Lahore (Staff Reporter): On the directives of Chief Lesco Ramzan Butt and SE Jamshed Zaman, a major anti-power theft operation was carried out in Achhra. Led by the Achhra SDO along with the meter inspector, the team inspected Farooq Azam Bazaar where two bogus commercial meters were found illegally installed by shopkeepers to steal electricity.

FIRs were lodged and the culprits were taken into custody on the spot.

During the operation, several domestic consumers were also caught for electricity theft and non-payment of dues. Thousands of units were billed through detection, and recovery was made on-site.
