LAHORE: The Hailay Research Week 2024 kicked off at Punjab University with great enthusiasm, celebrating academic and entrepreneurial achievements. The event was inaugurated by LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, who attended as the chief guest. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, along with the faculty and students of Hailay College of Commerce. Shad underlined the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial skills among students and encouraged them to explore modern business techniques. He quoted examples of successful research-driven ventures and discussed how collaboration between institutions like LCCI and Hailay College can help students transition from academics to industry seamlessly.
Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, in his welcome address, lauded the efforts of Hailay College in organizing the Research Week and providing a platform for students to showcase their academic prowess.
He also lauded Mian Abuzar Shad’s presence, calling it an inspiration for the students.
