LAHORE: The Lahore Police continued its tradition of honoring the sacrifices of its martyrs with a special ceremony on the second anniversary of Constable Shahid Arshad Ali’s martyrdom.
On the instructions of CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, a police guard attended the grave of the martyr, where a well-disciplined police contingent saluted the grave, laid a floral wreath and offered prayers for the departed soul.
Constable Shahid Arshad Ali who embraced martyrdom on December 5, 2022, during an operation against lawbreakers in the Manga Mandi area, was remembered for his courageous service.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana, in his message on the second anniversary of Constable Shahid Arshad Ali’s martyrdom, expressed his deep respect for police martyrs. He praised the dedication and sacrifices of the fallen heroes, stating that those who lay down their lives in the line of duty are a source of pride for the department. The bravery of Constable Shahid Arshad Ali continues to inspire the force.
The sacrifices of our martyrs will never go in vain, added CCPO Lahore, reaffirming his commitment to ensuring the welfare of martyrs’ families through all available resources. The welfare of police personnel and their families remains a priority and the department will always stand by the families of the martyrs in every moment of need, he concluded.
