Long hours, low wages, and little dignity — a security guard pauses on duty to eat a simple, makeshift meal of roti with curry and a bowl of watery yogurt, placed on a worn bench in the open. With no proper dining space, no rest breaks, and minimal facilities, this scene reflects the daily reality of many guards in Pakistan who work exhausting shifts yet struggle to afford even a basic, nutritious meal.
