LAHORE, October 30, 2025 – Under the chairmanship of DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, a meeting of the Inquiry Transfer Board (Second Board) was held to review requests for changes in investigation. The meeting was attended by Additional DIG Rizwan Saeed and other senior officers.

According to details, the board discussed 10 cases related to murder, attempted murder, assault, and fraud. Investigating officers and parties involved presented their respective positions before the board.
After hearing both sides, the officers issued directions regarding the transfer of investigations where deemed necessary. DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza expressed dissatisfaction over poor investigation in some cases and issued show-cause notices to negligent investigating officers.
He emphasized that no compromise on merit during investigations will be tolerated and that the primary objective of the Inquiry Transfer Board is to ensure justice for citizens.
DIG Zeeshan Raza directed investigating officers to make the investigation process transparent and merit-based so that the delivery of justice continues effectively.
