LAHORE December 4: A ceremony was held at the Capital City Police Headquarters to honour retired officers of the Lahore Police. Addressing the gathering, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana paid tribute to their service and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.

He also congratulated the retired officers on completing their careers with honour and integrity.
The ceremony was attended by former DSPs Taseer Ahmad Dar, Hafiz Abdul Majid, Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Akhtar, Syed Intikhab Hussain, and Atif Miraj.
DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar and other officers were also present.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana presented commemorative shields and bouquets to the retired officers. He noted that the retired policemen were highly competent and professional, and that their contributions to the department would always be remembered. The retired officers remain a valuable asset to the department and will always be regarded as part of the police family, he said.
The CCPO further stated that the Police Department holds in high esteem the services rendered by its retired policemen. He encouraged young officers to learn from the experience and guidance of their seniors, adding that honouring those who have served with dignity is a longstanding tradition of the Lahore Police.
Retired officers expressed gratitude to the CCPO Lahore for organizing the ceremony and reaffirmed that their services would remain available to the Police Department whenever needed.
