LAHORE : Punjab Governor , Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said all the parties including the opposition should be on the same page for the development and stability.

He was talking to Balochistan Governor, Jafar Khan Mandokhel during a meeting at Governor House Lahore, today.

Governor Punjab welcomed his counterpart at Governor House Lahore and congratulated him on assuming the office.

Various issues including issues of mutual interest and the overall situation of the country were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that strengthening the coalition government is very important for the stability of the country.

He said that Pakistan People’s Party is all out for excellent working relationship wit PML (N) in the larger interest of country

Governor Punjab said that all the parties including the opposition should be on the same page for the development and stability of the country. Governor Paunjab said that it is very encouraging that the country’s economic indicators are improving.

He added that he will play a positive role in improving the relationship between the federation and the province. Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandikhel said that the development and law and order of Balochistan province are priority.


Meanwhile, a delegation led by General Secretary People’s Party Central Punjab Syed Hasan Murtaza met Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore. The members of the delegation congratulated Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider on assuming the office of Governor Punjab and expressed good wishes.
Speaking on this occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that for the betterment and prosperity of the country, everyone has to work together and play a positive role. He said that the doors of Governor House Lahore are open for party workers and everyone. Governor Punjab said that Pakistan People’s Party has always given respect to its workers. He added that Pakistan People’s Party has always voiced the rights of workers and the deprived class. Former MPA, Farooq Yosuf Ghurki, former MPA Sania Kamran, Zaki Chaudhry, Asif Nagra, Barrister Aamir Hasan, Basharat Siddiqui, Ayesha Ghauri, Sahar Hadi Bakhai, Edwin Sohotra, Dr. Khayyam, Hasan Ashraf Bhatti and Asghar Bhatti were present in the meeting.


Also, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of precious human lives in the traffic accident on Khushab Manawan Road. Governor Punjab extended his condolences to the bereaved family. He said that all sympathies are with the bereaved family in this hour of sorrow. Governor Punjab also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.


Punjab Governor , Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressee deep concern over the situation faced by Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan.He said that the incident of torturing Pakistani students in the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek were deploranle. He expressed hope that the Government of Kyrgyzstan would provide protection to the Pakistani students. He prayed for the security of Pakistani students in Bishkek.
