LAHORE: Pioneer Business Group (PBG) Chairman and presidential candidate for the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections Ali Hussam Asghar received a warm welcome during his visit to Hall Road, where traders announced their full support for his candidature.
Ali Hussam Asghar attended an Independence Day ceremony organised by the Mobile Parts Association at Hall Road as the chief guest. The event was attended by a large number of traders and business leaders, turning the gathering into a public show of support.
President Mobile Parts Association Dr Shahzad Mahmood, along with Bilal Butt, Sohail Parvez and Karamat Awan, welcomed Ali Hussam Asghar. Hall Road traders alliance representatives also expressed confidence in his leadership for the upcoming LCCI elections.
Dr Shahzad Mahmood announced that Hall Road traders stand firmly with PBG, describing the market as a stronghold of the group. He said traders would support Ali Hussam Asghar in his bid for the LCCI presidency.
President Ittefaq Group Haji Nawaz Pappu said that traders would work to elect Ali Hussam Asghar as the next president of the Lahore Chamber, while Alliance Group Chairman Malik Khalid Iqbal said Hall Road traders were standing with him wholeheartedly.
Addressing the gathering, Ali Hussam Asghar thanked Hall Road traders for their support and said he was deeply grateful for their affection and trust.
“PBG will win the Lahore Chamber elections with the support of its alliance,” he said, adding that his priority would be to strengthen the business community and address traders’ issues.
The ceremony was also attended by PML-N MPA Malik Abdul Waheed, PBG Senior Vice Chairman Haris Atiq, General Secretary PBG Mardan Zaidi, LCCI Executive Committee members Hafiz Sajjad, Malik Asif, Zain Elahi and Mahmood Aslam.
