LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana has said that comprehensive security arrangements are being implemented to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the ongoing anti-polio campaign.

In a statement issued today, the CCPO added that Lahore will remain on high security alert throughout the campaign, which runs from May 26 to June 1. He emphasized that robust security protocols have been activated to safeguard polio vaccination teams across the city.
Surveillance cameras operated by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority are being utilized to monitor the situation and enhance protection for field teams. Special security deployments have been arranged at city entry points and key transit locations where children are being vaccinated.
CCPO Lahore also directed supervisory officers to personally oversee the implementation of security measures and maintain vigilance throughout the campaign.
He stressed the vital role of the Dolphin Squad and Police Response Units in conducting effective patrolling operations to ensure the safety of vaccination teams.
“Lahore Police is committed to using all available resources to secure the future of our children,” he concluded.
