LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, while addressing the panel discussion at ThinkFest 2025 held at Alhamra Hall, stated that no one has the political right to set my house on fire.

He remarked that if we are to discuss the political turmoil of 2014, it must be linked to the founder of PTI. He pointed out that today, statements by Ali Amin Gandapur are under discussion, but in the past, Pervez Khattak also attacked with armed groups.
The Speaker further stated that popularity is not a new phenomenon, as it was also enjoyed by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif. However, the real question is, what did we accomplish when we had the opportunity?

He urged all political forces, civil society, and the media to come together and engage in dialogue on the pressing issues. He assured his full support, stating that we must rise above biases and hold meaningful discussions on societal divisions to promote national stability.
The significant panel discussion was held at Alhamra Hall, Lahore, and was attended by prominent political, social, and journalistic figures. Participants included Senator Ali Zafar (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf), politician Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, and senior journalist Mehmal Sarfraz, among others.
During the seminar, detailed discussions were held on the growing political extremism in Pakistan, public polarization, and the restoration of democratic norms. The participants unanimously agreed that open dialogue is essential for political stability, and all stakeholders must understand their responsibilities to steer the country towards progress.
