LAHORE: A delegation of the Daroghawala Industrial Owners Association (Registered) held an important and detailed meeting with LESCO Chief Engineer Ramzan Butt to discuss issues facing industrial areas in Lahore.
The delegation comprised Association Chairman Shaban Akhtar, President Rameez Dewan, General Secretary Shehzad Saleem and Executive Member Farhan Ali.

During the meeting, the delegation particularly discussed ongoing projects in Shama Park, Waheed Furnace, Afshan Park and adjoining industrial areas, expressing concern over delays and slow progress on various development and electricity-related works.
The representatives briefed the LESCO chief on the problems being faced by industrialists and urged the authority to accelerate work on the pending projects and address the related issues on a priority basis.
LESCO Chief Engineer Ramzan Butt assured the delegation that all possible measures would be taken for the prompt resolution of the issues. He also directed the Chief Operations, Chief CSD, Chief Revenue and other relevant teams to take necessary steps to address the problems faced by the industrial community.
The delegation appreciated the LESCO chief’s assurance and expressed hope that the pending works and other issues would be resolved at the earliest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Daroghawala Industrial Owners Association presented a souvenir to LESCO Chief Engineer Ramzan Butt as a gesture of appreciation.
