SEOUL (Web Desk) – BTS member Jin has expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans after the group marked its first anniversary since reuniting following military enlistment.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the 31-year-old singer thanked the BTS ARMY for their unwavering love, support and warm wishes. Jin, the eldest member of the globally acclaimed K-pop group, shared a photo of himself wearing sunglasses and pointing towards a message that read, “Happy Birthday BTS!”
“Thank you for the birthday wishes. Our ARMY is the best,” he wrote in the caption, adding, “Let’s stay together in the future,” before signing off with “A kiss of gratitude.”
The celebration came as BTS concluded their two-night Arirang World Tour performances in Busan on Saturday, June 13. The concerts drew an estimated 220,000 fans to the Asiad Main Stadium, where the group delivered energetic performances of fan favourites including Dynamite and Fire.
The shows also featured anniversary surprises, with BTS performing special tracks such as Dimple, Magic Shop and the Korean traditional song Arirang, delighting concertgoers.
For Busan natives Jimin and Jungkook, the concerts marked an emotional homecoming and their return to the city since BTS’s 2022 performance before the members began their military service.
Fans were also treated to a number of candid moments on stage, including Jin and Jungkook playfully chasing one another, while Taehyung and Jungkook shared quiet exchanges that reflected the joy of the group’s reunion.
BTS is set to continue its world tour across 34 cities through 2027, further celebrating its long-awaited return as a complete group.
