LAHORE: Member SAARC Chamber and former Senior Vice President Federal Chamber Khawaja Shahzeb Akram has said that the establishment of Business Facilitation Centers by the Punjab Government is a strong reflection of business-friendly policy.

The establishment of Business Facilitation Centers is also helpful link in this chain. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of businessmen here yesterday. He highly appreciated the efforts of Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain and Secretary for Industries and Commerce Ehsan Bhutta who are taking great steps to implement the vision of Punjab Chief Minister’s business friendly policy. Khawaja Shahzeb Akram also said that the Punjab Government has brought together various federal and provincial departments under one roof to facilitate the business community. Currently, business facilitation centers in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sialkot and Gujranwala are working well and giving fruitful results. Establishment of new Business Facilitation Centers at Gujrat, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur from the next financial year will help in promoting investment in the Punjab. He said that the services of provincial and federal departments under one roof under is a great relief for the investors as it is saving their capital and time as well as helping in eradication of corruption. He said that with the facility of one-window operation by the Punjab government, the business process will be easy and further improve the spread of capital in the province. One window operation will not only encourage foreigners to invest but also facilitate local businessmen to invest in new ventures.[:]
