RIYADH (Web Desk) – Pakistani actor Durefishan Saleem has opened up about the profound impact of her recent Hajj pilgrimage, describing it as a life-changing experience that reshaped her perspective on faith, emotions, and personal growth.

Sharing her reflections on Instagram, the Ishq Murshid star revealed that the sacred journey brought her a deep sense of inner peace and spiritual fulfillment. According to Durefishan, Hajj was not merely a religious obligation but a transformative chapter that taught her the true meaning of patience, gratitude, and complete trust in Allah.

The actor performed Hajj alongside her parents, an experience she described as a source of immense comfort and strength. Despite facing physical challenges and falling ill on the very first day of Rami, she remained grateful for the opportunity to complete the pilgrimage. She credited the support of her family and faith for helping her navigate the demanding journey.

Reflecting on her time in the holy cities, Durefishan said the pilgrimage allowed her to release emotional burdens she had carried for a long time. She explained that one of the most valuable lessons she learned was the importance of surrendering to Allah’s will and letting go of attachments that weigh heavily on the heart. This newfound sense of detachment, she noted, is something she hopes to carry with her long after returning home.

Beyond the spiritual rituals, Durefishan also cherished the bonds she formed with fellow female pilgrims. She recalled sharing prayers, tears, laughter, and simple meals together, creating memories rooted in faith and companionship. Listening to the stories of other pilgrims and witnessing their devotion offered her practical lessons in religion that extended beyond words and teachings.

Describing the pilgrimage as a journey filled with blessings, Durefishan admitted that many of the emotions and experiences she encountered are difficult to express fully. However, she emphasized that Hajj left her spiritually enriched and emotionally lighter, replacing old worries with a renewed sense of purpose and contentment.

Although the physical demands of the pilgrimage left her exhausted, she said her heart felt fuller than ever before. Concluding her message, the actor extended warm prayers and wishes to Muslims around the world, hoping that everyone is granted the opportunity to undertake the sacred journey of Hajj and experience its transformative power firsthand.
