LAHORE, April 6: In line with the Punjab government’s austerity drive, revised fuel allocation limits have been introduced for official vehicles operated by Lahore Police. DIG (Administration) Imran Kishwar has issued directives regarding the implementation of these revised fuel allocations across various units and officers of Lahore Police.

According to the spokesperson for Lahore Police, monthly fuel allocations have been fixed as follows: 600 liters for DIG vehicles, 450 liters for SSP vehicles, 300 liters for SP vehicles and 250 liters for DSPs deployed in the field. Staff posted in offices, including Assistant Directors, Private Secretaries, Personal Staff Officers and others, have been allocated 150 liters each. Jail vans under Lahore Police will receive 350 liters, Hino buses 400 liters and motorcycles 24 liters.
The spokesperson said that these measures are part of the ongoing austerity campaign aimed at ensuring the effective use of government resources.
