Addressing the meeting, Jamil Manj announced that the PPP induction program would be held in Green Town on the evening of November 27 to welcome new office-bearers after the reorganization.

Faisal Mir said that only youth and senior leaders should be invited to speak on Foundation Day.

The meeting was also attended by Asif Nagra, Amjad Jatt, Chaudhry Atif Rafique, Dr Khalid Javed Jan, Arif Khan, Naseer Ahmed, Yasir Bara, Riyaz Bhatti, Aslam Gada, Sheikh Irfan, Rao Khalid Advocate, Shahida Jabeen, Rao Shujaat, Riyaz Jatt, Rana Akram, Rana Dilshad, Mansha Bhatti, Wajid Alisha, Khurram Farooq, Tariq Saeed Jatt, Atir Shah, Arif Zafar, Shahbaz Durrani, Anisa Bano, Adnan Khokhar and Mian Ashraf.

They said the party leadership and workers should hold themselves accountable on Foundation Day, make sacrifices and wholeheartedly serve the party. Those who performed well should be recognised. They proposed that the Foundation Day event could also be hosted at Liberty Chowk, Al Hamra or Charing Cross.

They added that flexes and banners for the Foundation Day rally should be displayed across the city. The PPP would celebrate the party’s founding anniversary as people celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones, they said.
