LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) celebrated Women Entrepreneurs Day with an impressive gathering of women business leaders and key stakeholders, emphasizing the growing role of women in Pakistan’s economic landscape.

LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol and Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh graced the occasion, alongside EC Members Firdous Nisar and Shaban Akhtar, MPA and Chief Minister’s Focal Person Sadia Taimoor, former EC Member Shehzad Aslam, and prominent entrepreneur Riffat Malik.
Highlighting the Chamber’s commitment to promoting female entrepreneurship, Faheem ur Rehman Saigol lauded the resilience and innovative spirit of women entrepreneurs, stressing that their contribution is vital for Pakistan’s economic growth. “Women-led businesses are not just shaping the present but defining the future of commerce in Pakistan,” he remarked during his address.
Firdous Nisar, a longstanding advocate for women in business, emphasized the importance of providing platforms and support systems to help women expand their enterprises. She encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to leverage LCCI’s resources and networks to overcome challenges in the business environment.
The event also featured a vibrant exhibition where women entrepreneurs showcased a variety of products ranging from handicrafts to tech solutions, reflecting both creativity and commercial acumen.
