LAHORE, October 31 – Lahore Police have implemented comprehensive security arrangements for the second T20 cricket series between Pakistan and South Africa, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the promotion of sports.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, said that foolproof security was being provided to both local and international players as well as cricket fans. He noted that special police contingents had been deployed in and around Gaddafi Stadium, with strict measures enforced at all entry and exit points.
The CCPO directed supervisory officers to maintain close coordination with the PCB and other relevant agencies. He added that Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and Elite Force teams would conduct continuous patrolling throughout the T20 series.
He further said that all key locations are being monitored round the clock through the Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s CCTV cameras, while a comprehensive traffic management plan has been devised to ensure smooth vehicular flow.
Bilal Siddique Kamyana directed all on-duty personnel to remain vigilant and perform their duties with full dedication, reaffirming Lahore Police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens and creating a secure environment for sporting activities.
