DUBAI (Web Desk) – Pakistan booked their place in the Asia Cup final after defeating Bangladesh by 11 runs in the Super Four stage at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Chasing a target of 136, Bangladesh were bowled out for 124 runs. Shamim Hossain top-scored with 30, while Saif Hassan (18) and Nurul Hasan (16) offered brief resistance. Pakistan’s bowling attack proved decisive, with Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf claiming three wickets each, while Saim Ayub picked up two and Mohammad Nawaz one.
Earlier, batting first after being invited by Bangladesh, Pakistan posted 135 for 8 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Haris led the scoring with 31, followed by Mohammad Nawaz (25), Shaheen Shah Afridi (19), and captain Agha Salman (19). Faheem Ashraf remained unbeaten on 14.
With this victory, Pakistan advanced to the final where they will face arch-rivals India on Sunday, September 28.
