KASUR: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Federal Minister of State Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan visited flood-affected areas of District Kasur on Thursday, meeting residents of Sodhiwal, Tatara Kamil, Sanda Khanwah, Mamokay Mehmood, and Chogay Ansarian to hear their concerns.

During the visit, the Speaker and Minister distributed 1,010 ration bags and 15,500 kilograms of silage among the victims.
Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said that providing relief to affected families is the government’s top priority. He emphasized that fodder and medical care for livestock would be ensured at all costs, as animals are a vital asset for farmers, adding that no negligence would be tolerated.
He further stated that the Punjab government stands shoulder to shoulder with the victims and that transparency and efficiency in relief efforts will be strictly ensured. A local committee comprising community members will also be formed to oversee fair distribution of aid.
Minister of State Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan reaffirmed that the government remains fully committed to its mission of public service, assuring residents that they will not be left alone in this difficult time.
