LAHORE: the Lahore police has been actively working alongside administration to assist flood-affected communities. As of today, a total of 796 children, 533 women and 416 men who were stranded due to the flood have been safely relocated to secure areas.

This was stated by spokesman Lahore Police in a statement issued today.
According to the spokesman, Lahore Police was fully engaged in rescue activities in 43 flood-hit villages, assisting the affected populations. The police have also facilitated the relocation of stranded livestock to safe areas, he said.
The CCPO has ordered to ensure the security of properties belonging to those who have been displaced by the flood, including differently abled persons.
Additionally, security arrangements have also been made for individuals staying in relief camps. Bilal Siddique Kamyana in his statement, urged the citizens to contact the police helpline at 15 in case of any emergency.
