In his keynote address, Ijaz Alam Augustine emphasized the importance of technology in today’s era, stating that
“Technology is not just convenience; it is power. If we enable our youth to excel in the fields of AI and modern technology, poverty and backwardness will automatically decrease. Providing free world-class AI training to minority youth is a remarkable step that will pave the way for progress and skill-based empowerment.”
On this occasion, Pastor Christopher Christi, Chairman of Rehai Network, officially announced the launch of a free world-class AI Masterclass for minority youth across Pakistan. He explained that the program will be available both online and offline, including assignments, video lectures, and business model development, enabling youth to practically apply these skills in their professional lives.
Peter Charles, Chairman of Pakistan Minority Movement, further highlighted that initially 1,000 youth from Lahore have been registered in the program, while 10,000 youth from across Punjab will be registered in the next phase. He stressed that “If our youth combine faith with technology, they can not only transform their own lives but also set a new precedent for the progress of minorities in Pakistan.”
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants pledged to utilize the skills acquired not only for their personal growth but also for the betterment of their communities. Hundreds of youth present at the event paid tribute to the organizers for launching this historic initiative under the vision of “Rehai Ki Soch” and hailed it as a revolutionary step towards the empowerment and skill development of minority youth in Pakistan.
