LAHORE: To mark Police Martyrs’ Day, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) held a solemn ceremony at the Safe City Headquarters in Lahore to honor the police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

The event was attended by the Deputy Operations Commander IC3, unit heads of PSCA, and Police Communication Officers. A moment of silence was observed to pay respect to the fallen heroes, and their unmatched bravery and sacrifice were remembered with deep reverence.
As part of the day’s commemoration, PSCA released a special documentary film highlighting the heroic stories of martyred police officers. The film featured emotional interviews with their families, children, and parents who spoke with pride about their loved ones’ sacrifices. Many of the martyrs’ children shared their dream of joining the police force to carry forward their parents’ legacy.
PSCA officials, speaking at the event, said the supreme sacrifices of Punjab Police officers have greatly enhanced the respect, trust, and honor of the department. “The martyrs are the true pride and priceless asset of the nation,” they emphasized. “Their legacy of courage and service will live on for generations to come.”
The Punjab Safe Cities Authority paid heartfelt tribute to the families of the martyrs and offered prayers for the highest ranks in paradise for the departed souls. The authority also reaffirmed its commitment to ensure that the sacrifices of these brave officers are never forgotten or go in vain.
