The lifeless body of celebrated actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was discovered in a rented flat in Karachi’s upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Zone Syed Asad Raza confirmed to the media that the 32-year-old star’s body was found in an apartment at Ittehad Commercial, Phase VI.

According to Raza, Gizri police arrived at the flat around 3:15pm to enforce a court-ordered eviction. When repeated knocks went unanswered, officers forced open the lock and entered, only to find Humaira deceased. Initial observations suggest the body had been there for approximately 15 days, though the cause of death remains undetermined pending further investigation.
The body has been transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Gizri police corroborated the details, identifying the deceased as Humaira, daughter of Asghar Ali, and noted that the investigation is ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding her death.
Humaira Asghar Ali was a prominent figure in the entertainment world, captivating audiences with her performances in popular dramas like ‘Ehsan Faramosh’ and ‘Guru’. She also maintained a vibrant presence on social media, where her fans mourned the heartbreaking loss.
