LAHORE: Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believes in working by consensus, not by majority vote. There was a majority vote on the 26th Amendment. A consensus could not be reached.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto made all parties agree on the formation of a constitutional bench, although we wanted to form constitutional courts. Bilawal Bhutto is now carrying the banner of the vision of Bibi and Bhutto Shaheed.
He expressed these views while addressing a seminar organized by the People’s Lawyers Forum Lahore Division on the topic of “Constitution, Law, Justice and B. Zaheer Bhutto” at the Conference Hall of the Lahore High Court. The seminar was presided over by Shahid Abbas Advocate, President of PLF Lahore Division.
A cake was also cut on the occasion of the daughter of the east’s birthday. Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Ahsan Bhawan, President of Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari, Chaudhry Aslam Gul, Usman Malik, Arif Khan, Rehman Aziz Malik, Shakeel Pasha and others also addressed the seminar.
Rana Jamil Manj, Arif Khan, Rao Khalid Advocate, Javed Ilyas Judge, Naveed ul Hassan, Bushra Malik, Rana Zulfiqar, Agha Taqi Shah, Hamza Abbas were also present on the occasion. Qamar Zaman Kaira said that rulers disappear from the minds of the people, only a few leaders remain in the hearts, the leader comes to solve the problems. The rulers only govern.
He said that the PPP is the only party that shook the foundations of Pakistan’s state structure and introduced democratic identities by eliminating old identities. He told that when Pakistan was in crisis and was in turmoil, Bhutto Sahib was given power by begging, at that time the country was running under martial law regulation. Bhutto Sahib united the scattered nation and gave hope to the defeated nation by giving hope to the nation.
The former federal minister said that due to Benazir Bhutto’s missile technology, we shot down 6 Indian aircraft. They said that Bibi Shaheed brought together Zia’s allies and signed the Charter of Democracy. When Mian Nawaz Sharif faced a difficult time, Bibi herself went to him. When political parties are weak, the country and the political process are weak. Giving direction to nations is a big job that only a great leader can do. When Bibi was martyred, Pakistan caught fire. At that time, Asif Zardari raised the slogan of Pakistan Khappa. He said that the PPP has objections to the budget, but we will not let the government fall. We will have to put our contradictions and differences aside and promote national unity.
He further said that the PPP has guided the country out of crises in every era. We will have to move forward with great prudence and patience. Ahsan Bhawan, former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, said that no one else could leave the legacy that Shaheed Bhutto left for the people in this country. Pakistan’s defense system is the religion of Shaheed Bhutto. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has crushed Pakistan’s opponents on the diplomatic front. He said that President Asif Zardari strengthened the parliamentary system by reducing his powers. The country’s system cannot be improved until the stability of the parliament.
I demand that the PPP should form a constitutional court by taking judges from all the provinces. Member PPP Central Executive Chaudhry Aslam Gul said that after the martyrdom of Bhutto Sahib, Begum Bhutto and then Bibi Shaheed raised the flag of democracy. The difficulties that President Asif Zardari endured in his political journey are part of history.
Be it royal forts or jails, Bhutto’s followers never panicked. Under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto, the mission of Shaheed Bibi will be completed. Usman Malik said that the solution to our country’s problems lies only in the return of Bhutto. Lahore Press Club President Arshad Ansari said that no other family has been able to make sacrifices like Bibi Shaheed and her entire family.
No other leader in the country has the vision and political insight of the lady. Today, democracy in Pakistan is indebted to the political struggle of Benazir Shaheed.
