The session witnessed a large turnout of citizens, including a significant number of overseas Pakistanis, who raised their concerns about police investigations and justice delivery. The event was attended by SP Investigation Model Town Dr. Ayaz Hussain, DSP Investigations, Incharge Investigations, and other investigation officers.

DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza attentively listened to the complaints of citizens and issued immediate on-the-spot orders for their resolution. He took strict notice of poor investigation practices and reprimanded several officers during the session. Show-cause notices were also issued to some investigating officers for negligence and substandard work.

While addressing the gathering, DIG Raza emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated on merit. He issued strict instructions to all investigation officers to ensure timely and merit-based resolution of cases.

“The protection of life and property of citizens remains the top priority of the Investigation Police,” said DIG Raza. He assured the public that complaints related to investigations will be redressed without delay.

He further stated that the purpose of holding such open courts is to bridge the gap between the police and the public, fostering an environment of trust and cooperation.

DIG Zeeshan Raza directed his officers to deal with the public courteously and urged them to improve their performance. He reiterated that the doors of his office are always open for the public and that only through the prompt provision of justice can peace and order be ensured.
