LAHORE: December 5, 2025 — The Investigation Wing of Lahore Police witnessed the promotion of 11 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspector and 25 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to Sub-Inspector during a dignified promotion badge-pinning ceremony held at the Investigation Headquarters.
DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, along with SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed, formally pinned the promotional ranks on the officers. Among those promoted to Inspector were Sharafat Ali, Murtaza Bilal, Mohsin Raza, and Muhammad Shehzad, while several Sub-Inspectors, including Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Akbar, Zahid Mahmood and others, were also elevated.
Congratulating the promoted officers, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza said that timely promotion is the fundamental right of every police officer and plays a vital role in improving professional performance. He urged the officers to serve the public with greater dedication, integrity, and commitment.
He further emphasized that police officers should continue to demonstrate the highest professional capabilities to facilitate citizens and strengthen public trust in the police. All the newly promoted Sub-Inspectors and Inspectors are currently serving in the Investigation Wing, he added.
The ceremony concluded with renewed pledges by the officers to uphold the law and serve the community with enhanced responsibility.
