LAHORE: The Pakistan Media Writers Club organized a function titled “Successful Women” of the National Women Journalists Forum at a local hotel in Lahore.
The chief guests of the function were President National Women Journalists Forum Farzana Chaudhry and Rabia Azmat Member of Governing Body Lahore Press Club and Finance NWJF .
The function was presided over by Chairman Pakistan Media Writers Club Iftikhar Khan. Other guests included senior journalist Fazal Hussain Awan Nawa-e-Waqt, Asim Latif Production Incharge Daily City 42, Chaudhry, senior journalist Muhammad Shahzad Voice of Germany Shahid Hanif Lahore Ring News, Tabish Butt Anchor Bol News, Iqra Mughal Ab Tak News Assignment Editor and Nabila Akbar Pakistan Media Writers Club President Women Wing and special cooperation was provided by Munza Samuel Pakistan Media Writers Club Executive Member from UK. Pakistan Media Writers Club Chairman Iftikhar Khan expressed his views and said that today’s event is held in honor of President National Women Journalists Forum Farzana Chaudhry and Rabia Azmat. We should encourage women on their achievements so that women’s confidence in journalism and other fields can be restored and women can also stand side by side with men and utilize their talents. Women have proved that they are equal to men in capabilities,” said NWJF President Farzana Chaudhry.
Iftikhar Khan thanked all the guests and added that today’s event is very special because the special guests of the event are also women and the organizers and hosts of the event are also women. The event ended with a wonderful dinner.
